Leave Certificates
Absence from Work certificates may be able to be provided by your pharmacist to verify illness or injury for workplace personal and carers leave policies. Leave certificates can only be issued for short term and self-limiting conditions within a pharmacist’s scope of practice. This may include colds, gastrointestinal upset, migraines and so forth. Certificates cannot be backdated and can only be provided for a maximum duration of two days. As part of this service, you will have a brief confidential discussion with the pharmacist about your illness in a private area of the pharmacy.
